wow.

today at work i was having my lunch, and employees lunches usually overlap by a little bit, which i love! gives me an awesome opportunity to get to know my co-workers, since it can be kinda hard when your running around getting orders and everything.
anyways, i have worked with this one girl a few times, and i really like her and we get along well. so we end up having our lunches overlap so we are just chatting about life, we started discussing our lunches which led to her asking if i live at home, and then me asking her if she does. turns out she has been in 13 fosters homes in 16 years, moved out with her boyfriend at 16 and they just bought a house together. and she know has just started spending time with her parents. it blows my mind. i just sat there in silence and thought of what it must be like, and i couldnt even imagine what she has gone through, i mean, i like most ppl have a pretty dysfunctional family, but i was blessed with one that loves me, and makes sure i know it! i just cant imagine what it must be like to float from home to home never really getting to settle, all those hard times in your teens you go through and having to do that while constantly moving. wow.
